Product Description

Butyl rubber waterproofing membrane is a single or double-sided self-adhesive sheet primarily composed of butyl rubber, coated on reinforced aluminum foil and corrugated aluminum foil. This product exhibits strong adhesion to surfaces of various materials, making it particularly suitable for color steel tiles and roof cracks. It features excellent weather resistance, anti-aging performance, and waterproof capabilities, effectively sealing bonded surfaces. Functions like shock absorption and protection remain uncured throughout its service life, thus providing excellent follow-up adaptability to the thermal expansion, contraction, and mechanical deformation of the bonded surface. Completely solvent-free, this product does not shrink or emit toxic gases, serving as an eco-friendly solvent-free waterproof sealing and adhesive material.

Product Characteristics

Construction applications

• Substrate Preparation: Clear protruding sharp edges and debris from the substrate;
• Primer Application (if required): Aged color steel plates need to be coated with the matched water-based "rust-inhibitive primer";
• Large-area Installation: Align the membrane with the reference line, and roll forward and outward with a rubber roller to expel air;
• Overlap: Use a pressure roller to ensure tight overlap bonding;
• Detail Treatment: Reinforce detail processing in accordance with specification requirements;

Scope of Application

• Roof waterproofing, underground waterproofing, waterproof treatment of structural construction joints and short edge laps, or detail treatment of pre-applied waterproof membranes;
